Mechanism of action

Ravidasvir inhibits the NS5A protein of the hepatitis C virus, which is essential for viral replication and assembly. By binding to this protein, ravidasvir disrupts the viral life cycle, ultimately leading to reduced viral load and aiding in the clearance of the virus from the host.

Pharmacodynamics

Ravidasvir exhibits antiviral activity against various HCV genotypes. Its mechanism of action involves interference with the viral replication process through the inhibition of the NS5A protein. This results in a decrease in viral RNA levels and contributes to the overall effectiveness of HCV treatment regimens.

Pharmacokinetics
